Helping Our Young People Find Meaning in Their Own Story

CR YOUTH group for 6th-12th Graders!!

We combine our Middle and High School students and provide a place for them to come to a safe and nurturing environment where they can be the unique and loved people God created them to be, as well as a place to be encouraged and to grow in their faith.

We will have three big events each year, including a SUMMER SPECIAL EVENT, FALL KICK-OFF, and SPRINGHILL WINTER RETREAT. Between those events, we have regular YOUTH GROUP NIGHT with games/food/messages, and free hangout time.

All of these are guided by our CR YOUTH leader team. Meet them below!

We will typically meet for Youth Group Night on the 1st & 3rd Fridays of each month from 7-8:30 pm. (See schedule below.)

Friday, Sep 5 @ 7-8:30 pm: Youth Group Night RESUMES for 6-12th

Friday, Oct 3 @ 7-8:30 pm: Youth Group Night for 6-12th (theme: Wild West!)
Friday, Oct 17 @ 7-8:30 pm: Youth Group Night for 6-12th (theme: orange & black)
Saturday, Oct 25 @ 8-10 pm: BONFIRE (off-site event)
Friday, Nov 7 @ 7-8:30 pm: Youth Group Night for 6-12th (theme: pajama night)
Friday, Nov 21 @ 7-8:30 pm: Youth Group Night for 6-12th (theme: sports jerseys)
Friday, Dec 5 @ 7-8:30 pm: CHRISTMAS PARTY
Friday, Dec 14 @ 6:30-8:30 pm: ADVENT RETREAT (a quiet reflection retreat time to prepare for Christmas with Pastor Stacey)

On Sunday Mornings,

we offer 3 opportunities for CR YOUTH (6th-12th grade) to choose from:

Attend CR YOUTH Sunday Morning Bible Study in the Student Stadium (this takes place after the worship time).
If in 9th grade or above, they can serve on the CR KIDS TEAM, or on the TECH TEAM for Sunday service (video/lighting/projection). Contact Stacey for information on serving.
Attend the entire service in the Main Auditorium. (Please be advised that sometimes the Main Service Message will cover adult topics that may not be suitable for younger students.)
WINTER BREAK: Dec 1- Jan 4: No “CR YOUTH SUNDAY Morning Bible Study.” Teens can stay in the main service with families, OR serve in CR KIDS during this time.)

CR YOUTH helps our young people find meaning in their own stories. Through their experiences here, middle school & high schoolers will become more self-aware while developing compassion for others as they learn about, understand more clearly, and truly experience the love and compassion of Jesus. We believe these young people will use this awareness and understanding to create a culture of love, truth, and justice in our community. We are equipping our youth with the skills they need to be mobilized as change makers, active in social justice, serve with compassion, and be encouraged to live an authentic faith as they enter adulthood.
