Jaquil is a graduate of WMU in psychology with plans to continue on to receive a masters and then doctorates degree in family counseling. He is a member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Incorporated which is the last founded fraternity in the Divine 9.
He began serving as the leader of Crossroads’ weekly teen group in 2018.
