AJ and Hannah first encountered the Crossroads community in 2019 and are so grateful to find home again and again.
Before joining the Crossroads Church staff in 2024, AJ spent several years in higher education as the Manager of Housing and Operations at Albion College, where he had received his undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Arts in History, Public Policy). AJ also completed his Master of Science in Organizational Leadership with a Strategic Innovation and Change Management concentration in 2023, studying ecosystem theory in non-profit and faith-based organizations. He is certified in ©iEnneagram Motions of the Soul and is a student in Crossroads Soul Resources School of Spiritual Direction.
As Systems and Executive Pastor, AJ deeply desires to develop healthy, sustainable, and fitting pathways for Crossroads’ continued impact. AJ also regularly offers his presence and teaching in the 6-12 grade CRYouth program.
AJ embraces his artistic side with gardening, cooking, painting, and loves to host a party. When not at the church you may find him watching the birds out his picture window with his sons, Miles and Wilder. He wants to empower you to find your voice, skillset, and the way of being that God set aside just for you!
