Crossroads has been a part of Sara’s development since the very beginning.
Sara has worked with youth in various capacities, and feels hopeful that a new generation is learning how to walk in justice, mercy and love.
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly[a] with your God. Micah 6:8 (NIV)
Sara earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University and a Masters of Public Health from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. She is a certified TIPS Trainer and a Communities that Care Coordinator.
Prior to joining the Crossroads staff, Sara worked as an educator for District Health Department #10, with a focus on preventing youth drug and alcohol abuse. She was also an educator at Sexual Assault Services of Calhoun County, primarily focused on prevention programs for students kindergarten through college.
Sara LOVES being a mom to two world changing young men, Dante and Lorenzo!
