Interrupting Your Regularly Scheduled Programming

What are you giving your life to? This Sunday, Pastor Hannah opened our new series "Worthy" by taking us to the burning bush in Exodus 3, where God interrupted Moses in the middle of an ordinary day and called him into something far greater than himself.

Moses asked the same questions many of us ask: Is this work worth my life? Am I even worthy of this call? And is God worthy of my trust? God's answer was not a list of Moses's qualifications. It was simply: I will be with you.

Jesus echoes this in Matthew 16:24-26, inviting us to stop trying to outswerve the hard parts of life and instead follow him into them. The ache you feel is not a problem to fix. It is a longing for God, and nothing else fills it.
