Mission and Vision

This is what the Lord says:
“Stand at the crossroads and look;
ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it,
and you will find rest for your souls.

Jeremiah 6:16

Our Mission

Helping People Navigate the Journey

When we encounter God, our journey is transformed.

Some may call this journey a journey of faith, others may call it a journey of life. We believe that Jesus is Good News for all people in all circumstances.

Church is an experience of God and each other.

Church is an experience of God and each other. Our church family consists of people who humbly recognize that we are among the lost Jesus came to seek and save and who want to experience all that God makes available. We believe the invitations of Christ are full, good, life-changing, and uncompromising. Jesus offers wholeness. We seek to respond to the world as people on a transforming journey.

Our Values

Transformative Listening

We believe that our stories matter. Have you ever had someone listen attentively without interrupting? We transform as we listen deeply. We transform when someone really listens to us. We believe listening starts with God, and Crossroads values listening through prayer, spiritual direction and building communities that can hear one another well. (Romans 12:1-2)

Dignity of All People

All people are made in the image of God and Jesus' ministry shows us how we can honor the dignity of all people. At Crossroads we seek to honor the dignity of all people across ministries, teachings, and in relationship with one another. At Crossroads, prejudice is unacceptable and diversity is celebrated.
(Galatians 3:28).

Discerning Community

How do you make hard decisions? Discernment is perception, decision, and action that flows from communion with the Trinity—rooted in the love of the Father, following the Way of Jesus, and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Discernment ensures we are neither reactive nor imbalanced but responsive to God’s invitations with our whole selves. (Micah 6:8)

A Practice-Based Faith

At Crossroads, we seek to love God, neighbor, and self through whole-life spiritual practices—embracing both community and solitude, contemplation and action, silence and word, giving, serving, and receiving—all to know Christ and make Christ known. These practices shape us and open us to behold God in new ways and invite us into continual transformation. (Luke 10:27)
