Crossroads Church’s Bread of Life Food Pantry serves around 2,000 people a year.
In fact, ours is the largest Food Pantry in Calhoun County. Through the generous financial and volunteer support of our Crossroads’ family, we’re able to provide food to an average of 152 homes per month. From cereal to eggs, meat to produce, canned goods to pasta… we are here to help families in need.
The Food Pantry is open the 2nd Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. in the Crossroads Church Main Auditorium. People looking for assistance should bring a Michigan I.D., proof of income and a utility bill with them to the pantry. Any questions you may have about these documents or the Food Pantry can be addressed by our volunteers when you arrive.
FREE Food Pantry Health Classes begin at 5:00pm taught by a Registered Nurse. Various topics are covered each month. (Doors shut for these classes at 5:15 p.m.)
As this is a volunteer-driven mission, we are always in need of people to assist in sorting food, setting up the pantry, handing out food and assisting families. If you are available for half a day or a few hours, please contact LeAnne Blight.
